The Keel-Cam allows for an underwater video feed from the hull down
for keel inspection. The video feed is composite, permitting a hookup
to just about any display including TV, Computer, LCD Monitor or even
a Radar equipped with composite in!
The
Keel-Cam is designed to fit into your existing speed transducer thru-hull
fitting. Simply remove your speed transducer and replace it with the
Keel-Cam. Connect camera to a 12VDC source, and video feed to wherever
you decide to display it, and enjoy live underwater video immediately.
The best part is no gear on deck or hanging over the side of the boat.
Nobody
likes holes in their boat, so the Keel-Cam has a potted camera assembly,
lens, and cable into the housing for added protection.
Along
with checking your keel, you can also use the Keel-Cam to check your
anchorage and anchor set, monitor shallow difficult entrances, find
a favorite dive spot or fishing hole, log reef lines, or check for divers
under the boat.
The
Keel-Cam has a footprint about the size of an audio cassette tape so
you can stow it just about anywhere.
